I’ve always wondered what wheels the JPS 6 series & M3 ran. The 6 originally ran BBSs with wheel fans, but from about 1986 & on it was always on the wheels above. when the m3 replaced the 6 series a few years later it also featured these wheels.
Well I finally figured it out.
They’re called Simmons Racing V4s from a small outfit out of Australia named Simmons racing. They are now owned and operated by Retro Wheels out of Mortdale Sydney.

This was my first ever tig weld! Didn’t go as badly as I thought, the start and end were a bit weird to get used to, and holding the filler rod steady is difficult with my dexterity but will get there :)
